The short version: Sottos is free, your notes are yours, be kind to the people you share with, and double-check anything that matters.
These terms apply when you use the Sottos app and its links (sottosapp.com). By using Sottos, or by creating a profile, you agree to them. You need to be at least 16. Our Privacy notice explains how we handle your data.
A profile is optional and uses Sign in with Apple. Keep your account to yourself, and use your real first name so friends recognize you. You can delete your profile at any time in Settings.
What you add to Sottos (ratings, notes, photos, cheers, shared meals and lists) is yours. So we can run Sottos, you give us permission to store it and show it to the people you choose, as described in the Privacy notice. If you contribute ratings, you also let us use them anonymously, combined with everyone else's.
Sottos is for sharing honest food opinions with people you know. Don't use it to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, to post hateful, sexual or illegal content, to spam, or to share someone's personal information. There's no tolerance for this. You can block and report anyone from their page; we review reports as soon as we can, and may remove content and close accounts that break these rules.
Sottos reads receipts with an AI model, and dish names, prices and totals can come out wrong; check anything that matters. Restaurant details, opening hours and maps come from Apple Maps and other providers and may be out of date. Ratings and notes are personal opinions, yours or your friends', not ours. Sottos isn't a source of nutrition, allergy or dietary advice: always check with the restaurant.
Sottos works with Apple (Sign in, iCloud, Maps), Google Maps and messaging apps you choose to share with. Their own terms apply to them, and we're not responsible for them.
Sottos is free and provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep in mind your data lives on your phone and in your iCloud; we're not responsible for loss caused by your device, iCloud or deleting the app. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for what other users post. None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived, or liability that can't legally be excluded.
We may change Sottos or these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. You can stop using Sottos at any time. We may suspend or close a profile that breaks these terms.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you can also rely on the laws and courts of the place where you live.
